Abandon Home

Made love so loud
neigbours cringe

head boards
shatter walls
screams like nails on a chalkboard

naked on horseback
galloping inside her
the joy of jousting

beads of sweat
off your chest
thump on her face

desire so great
panties torn
using boxer holes
instead of taking them off

adjacent neighbours' party
you flee home
more of a climax
was your celebration
boning til noon

Only God

rather frolic in frivolous
than judge what I'll never understand
your mind will never conceive me

Untold

I wanted to keep you
swear I did
but I was only
a little kid
felt you growing
scared as hell
when I did it
I meant well
didn't expect
you'd visit my dreams
no idea
what all this means
I'm sorry I hurt you
I thought you were asleep
dying with this secret
I must keep

Conformity Breaks Wings

writing
isn't what it used to be
conformed by what
others think
my art
should be
what poetry
should be like
I don't know if I like to write
anymore
it doesn't flow
like blood
through my viens
nor like tears
from pain
of losing my grandmother
it's still
stagnant
no ripples from this pen
I was too willing to change
willing to bend
broken

Early Mourning

for T.L.C

How can love
make me
want you dead
kill you
take my pen
slice through you
I'm through
with you
has been more than
enough
less than pleasure
filled my cup
nights of mourning
tears trickle
years upon you
a step from
unto dust you shall return
but so fickle
thickness
to stretch my mind
blind
unrealistic
world of your own
fairy tales
you fairy
stars away
in an orbit of crazy
lazy
though I maybe
I am open
stretch me

Bacon and Eggs

Indifferent
to your arrival
I feel your blame
I will never ask
for breakfast again

your crash
but my life changed

“I don’t wanna talk about it
that breakfast cause me crash”

this is what you said to me
when you came back

from your comma
that I cried you out of
still breathing
because of my love

under a ceiling fan
I lay
maimed
by my man
your words slit my throat
you don’t understand
blood oozes down my chest
“You Take My Breath”

your mouth a heinous weapon
left me to die
didn’t even realize
I couldn’t even cry

wrapped in your world
as I am wrapped in it too
wrapped up in me
being wrapped up by you

Smirnoff green apple vodka
did not shed the pain
you came back home
revived it again

how guilty I feel
though YOU sped down the street

how ashamed I am
because I wanted to eat

I regret playing in the kitchen
asking for those eggs

I’d just as well starve
that morning
if I knew it was me
you’d blame

Breakfast
caused pain
stove fire
ended flame

Lady Muhammad

sleeping old man
old man's nature
to sleep
wish to go
toe to toe
in your dreams
furthest you’ll go
she’s winning
another match
right now
coiled
in bed
feet
wrapped around
her lover’s head

Immoral Ways

for K.M

weed selling
weed smoking
old man seeking
young girls
to poke
dick in
sick in
so many ways

fast money
fast cars
young boys
bent over
rectum stretched
torn
worn out
in so many ways

old issues
new day
AIDS spread
Nations decay
in so many ways

Label Me Bitch

Not surprised by your labels
I've adjusted my heart to them
just a bit tired of them
but call me what you wish
no different from your mother
so you're calling her bitch

Fear what you do not know
refuse to know me
throw stones
from your glass house
your sister
my spitting image

laugh at my old rags
scorn my dusty hair
leave me
raped
blood covers
the side walk
pretend I wasn't there
I am your daughter
and you didn't even care

I wish
you'd stopped that day
labelled me
dirty bitch on the sidewalk

Sustenance for Death

to R.A.M

feelings devoured by you
less than a woman
slop me down like pigs do
tear me open
expose my faults
highlight my problems
mock my mistakes
give me another negative name
say you love me
but hide me in shame
love me just enough
to keep me coming back
love loss
blood lost
wounded
weak
slit my throat with your tongue
no confidence to speak
slice me
dice me
like a fruit
you need to survive
give me just the little
it takes to keep me alive

Psycho Obssession

a poetic story

I'm under constant watch
but no eye is that consistant
soon
you'll see me running in the distance
within the wink of an eye
you were the assistant
my escape you oblige
can't catch me
I'm already too far
tonight I will watch you
where ever you are
You deem me crazy
and to some extent
it may be true
maybe it's to the extent I'd take
to follow you.

Power of Prayer

Burning of flesh I smell
melted in the fiery flames of hell

Misery,
loves company
Temptations put before me
Greed, anger, lust
“choose what you want” the red eyes say
I bow on my knees and pray
“save me father, the devil strikes again”
A roaring voice shakes me
but soothes me like a friend
“Worry not my child,
I shall prevail in the end”

My Arrival

back like a bow
caressing your arrow
syllables slip from tongues
tongues then tangle
slow
quick
hearts beat
limbs limp
blood gushes
not enough to the brain
pleasure erupts
though there’s pain
I came

One day
because you push
people away
you’ll wake up
and your canvas
will be

Death Of Our Love

You kept
your ex girlfriend’s
dead rose
and my breathing poem
you put in the trash
and though my reply
to your actions
may be rash
you made me itch
at the thought of this shit
I sratch my skin
it flakes off
like the petals of
rose did
and
as little as it may seem
it meant a hell of a lot
to me
I feel like
your holding on
to her
I could be wrong
but I doubt it
your past
is too much in our present
and when you
presented that rose to me
I wilted
it wasn’t the only beauty
that was dead

You Take My Breath

My heart flutters,
My knees get weak,
As he passes, I can not speak.
And I dare not,
My thoughts are too jumbled,
And he takes my breath away.

Who cares about breathing?
I'd hold my breath forever if it meant he'll never leave.
I turn blue,
Heaving,
He makes me live,
So for him I'd stop breathing.

I haven't fallen in love.
I built my life around it.
Surrounded,
I thank heavens, I found it.
Bounded,
Tied and gagged.

PLEASE,
Do not release me!
You complete me in my eyes.
Where ever you are,
My heart shall lie.
I'd stop breathing, for you my love,
For you my love, I would die.
