Blank
One day because you push people away you’ll wake up and your canvas will be BLANK
Picasso has a painting, the subject of which, is a blank canvas. It is what the artist begins with, or a blank sheet, like the poet begins with a blank page.
I know a similar line from some wonderful film as well. If it comes back to me I'll share it.
Your implication though, also implies having to live upon a planet, off of which I'd have pushed everyone else.
I have a poem about such a fear. It's on p. 78 of As If Creation Were His Crime. It's called, "As She Hung Up Clothes".
It was a part of a play made from poems, presented at the Dundas, called "Four Billion Circles".
Title of this play also from a poem I wrote, called "Caribbean Dance," in same book, already mentioned above.
5:39 a.m., I read this again, repeated your cruel concluding words, giggled in fear at the thought of it, and looking at your pretty, seductive picture, I said the B word to your face. I don't know why. It was not my intention to be mean; said it possibly in retaliation.

Their loss! Not mine! I never push away though, always up! Always on!
